Woman hit North Little Rock resident, spit in 6-year-old's face over bullying dispute, police say

A North Little Rock woman told police she was attacked by another mother Saturday when she tried to get children to stop bullying her daughter.

Officers were called about 4:14 p.m. to a unit of an apartment complex at 400 N. Palm St., where the 29-year-old told police she had told the other children to get away from her 6-year-old, the report stated.

Then one of the other children's mothers, a 26-year-old woman, came to her apartment and spit in her daughter's face, the victim told police. Then the 26-year-old took off one of her own shoes and struck the 29-year-old in the hand, according to the report.

Police noted that the 6-year-old's mother had a cut to the side of her hand and that her daughter was uninjured but shaken.

The 26-year-old woman named as a suspect in the report did not appear in the Pulaski County jail online inmate roster as of Friday afternoon.
