Police are investigating the shooting of a 39-year-old man in Little Rock, according to a department spokesman.

Officers were called around 3:17 p.m. Monday to UAMS Medical Center for a report of a shooting victim, an online dispatch log shows.

Lt. Michael Ford, a police spokesman, identified the injured man as Michael Scott of Little Rock. According to Ford, the man was not being cooperative with police, and authorities could not find a crime scene or witnesses to the shooting.

Ford said he did not know Scott’s medical condition but reported the 39-year-old was shot one time in his lower extremities.

The motive in the shooting was unknown Monday.

Funny how so many ‘victims’ expect life saving treatment at no cost with no questions asked. I’m not advocating that help be withheld; just that they be taken into custody until they either pay up or name their attacker.

Doubleblind, who said he couldn't pay for his medical treatment. Just because he doesn't have or want to give information on what happen. You don't know what the hell is going on?
