Stephanie Tuong Vy Nguyen and Jesse Alexander Becton exchanged marriage vows at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Little Rock. The Rev. Martin Vu officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Le and Tuan Nguyen of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Dien Nguyen and the late Thuy Lien of Tuc Trung, Vietnam, the late Tinh Nguyen of Vietnam and the late Du Dinh of Houston.

Parents of the groom are Sharon and Gerald Cound of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Drs. Debbie and David Becton of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Mary Lee and Paul Becton and the late Dorothy Elliott, all of Little Rock.

The church was decorated with arrangements of peonies and eucalyptus. Music was by the Vietnamese Choir of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory mermaid-style gown with a sweetheart bodice. She carried a bouquet of blush and white peonies and eucalyptus.

Matron of honor was Jennie Dao Tran of Carrollton, Texas, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Caroline Le Fitsimones of Hot Springs; Christine Le of San Jose, Calif.; Phuong Mai of Tampa Bay, Fla.; and Chanta Givens of Dallas. They wore gold sequined gowns and carried pink and white wedding flowers.

Flower girl was Katelin Nguyen of North Little Rock, cousin of the bride, and ring bearers were Max McClusky of Memphis and Lee Becton of Alexandria, Va., nephews of the groom.

Serving as best man was Jake Boyce of Benton. Groomsmen were Alan Nguyen of Little Rock, brother of the bride; Tanner Montgomery of Denver; and Jay Becton of New York, Nick Becton of Fayetteville and Barry Becton of Alexandria, brothers of the groom. Guests were seated by Josh Nguyen of Conway, brother of the bride; Shayne Gibbs and Jackson Whitfield, both of North Little Rock; and Wes Hewett of Mount Ville, Pa., brother of the groom.

A reception at Pleasant Valley Country Club followed the ceremony.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a kindergarten teacher.

The bridegroom attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and is a patient representative at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

After a wedding trip to Seaside, Fla., the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
