Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show, along with opening act Joshua Hedley, will perform at 8 p.m. today at Clinton Presidential Park in Little Rock. Admission is $35.

Old Crow, who also performed at the Clinton center a few years ago, is touring in support of the band's new album, Volunteer, the group's first album of all-original material since signing with major label Columbia Records (Nashville, Tenn.). The band, which was discovered by bluegrass legend Doc Watson in 1998, chose the name of its latest album, released April 20, as a tribute to its base in Tennessee, whose state motto is "The Volunteer State."

In 2017, Old Crow released 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde, a collection of live versions of songs on Bob Dylan's 1966 double album, Blonde on Blonde. The six-member band is led by longtime members Ketch Secor and Critter Fuqua.

Opening act Joshua Hedley, who recently released Mr. Jukebox, his debut album on Third Man Records. He was described as "Country music's new king of broken hearts" in an April issue of Rolling Stone magazine. A fiddle player, Hedley is widely known for his shows on Monday nights at Nashville's downtown tourist attraction, Robert's Western World.
