Pedestrian killed on U.S. 82 named

GREENVILLE, Miss. -- Authorities have identified an Arkansas woman who was killed in what authorities said is an apparent hit-and-run incident on a Mississippi highway.

Debra Bradley, 33, of Lake Village was killed early Friday. Her body was found on U.S. 82 in Greenville.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Sgt. Ronnie Shive said Bradley was struck in the eastbound lane of the highway near a bridge that crosses the Mississippi River.

Sheriff's deputies from Washington County, Miss., responded. A truck driver said he saw Bradley walking west along the highway about 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Shive said there are no other witnesses, and no debris was left that could help determine the make and model of the vehicle.
