National Weather Service says tornado warning for part of Arkansas will be allowed to expire

The National Weather Service says a tornado warning issued for part of southern Arkansas will be allowed to expire at 7:30 p.m.

EARLIER:

The National Weather Service has issued tornado warnings for part of southern Arkansas until 7:30 p.m.

The advisories covers south-central Lafayette County and southwestern Columbia County.

The agency's Shreveport, Miss., office said a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Bradley, or 12 miles northwest of Springhill, moving northeast at 25 mph at 6:59 p.m.
