The Toys R Us at 11500 Financial Centre Parkway permanently closed Wednesday.

The Toys R Us location in west Little Rock has shut its doors for good as the chain prepares to close all its U.S. stores by Friday.

An assistant manager confirmed that Wednesday was the last day of business for the store at 11500 Financial Centre Parkway. The retailer sold its inventory in a going-out-of-business sale, and the doors were shut and locked by 3 p.m.

However, the business will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for customers to pick up fixtures.

Toys R Us management said in March it will sell or close all of its U.S. stores. A Babies R Us at 2616 S. Shackleford Road in Little Rock and a Toys R Us at 5609 E. Rogers Ave. in Fort Smith have already shut their doors.

The two remaining Arkansas locations, in North Little Rock and Fayetteville, also appeared closed Wednesday.
