House search said to yield meth, pot

Authorities say they found about 13 ounces of methamphetamine Tuesday during a search of a Little Rock house.

Carlye Smith Self was arrested Tuesday at her residence at 3103 Zion Drive, according to a report.

The report stated that Pulaski County sheriff's investigators found about 13 ounces of methamphetamine in a plastic bag at the house.

Authorities also reported finding a set of scales, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Self was charged with possession of methamphetamine for trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug premises, along with a misdemeanor drug-possession charge, according to the report.

Drive-by shots hit family dog in leg

Shots fired early Tuesday at a Little Rock home with four children inside injured a dog, according to a police report.

Officers were called shortly before 2:15 a.m. to a residence on Allyson Circle, where a 30-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man told them that they had heard several gunshots outside. The man said his dog was outside at that time and was hit in one of its back legs.

According to the report, residents said the shots were fired from a lime-green older-model Ford Mustang.

At the time of the shooting, three adults and four children were inside the residence, the report said.
