Some of the furry four-legged models at Paws on the Runway on May 10 walked across the runway, some of the smaller ones were carried and one decided not to walk across at all. But nobody minded -- as they were all adorable. The 11th annual fashion show with the theme Vanity Fur was held at Next Level Events and was a fundraiser for CARE, an animal rescue organization.
The canine models, up for adoption or previous CARE rescues who've been adopted, walked with two-legged models wearing fashions provided by local clothing stores. Before the runway show, guests enjoyed food and drink, a silent auction and a photo booth.
For the third year, an award in honor of the late CARE volunteer Judith Lynn Gardner, was given. Named the Golden Paw Award, this year it was given to Gardner's daughter Eyren Basha for her work with CARE.Gallery: Paws on the Runway
