One person died Friday afternoon in a helicopter crash in northeast Arkansas, authorities said.
The aircraft went down just before 1:30 p.m. off U.S. 62 west of the Clay County city of McDougal, Sheriff Terry Miller said.
Miller said the pilot dropped off two workers at a construction site before the helicopter malfunctioned and crashed.
The person who died has not yet been identified. No other injuries were reported.
