Charleston 69, Scranton 59 (OT)

Blaine Rowland had 28 points to lead Charleston in its season opener as the Tigers defeated Scranton.

Jacob Green added 25 points and Trenton Goodson 10 for the Tigers.

Western Grove 63, Omaha 49

Luke Lane had 21 points and Carsen Parker 19 for Western Grove (5-2), which led 36-17 at halftime and 44-29 after three quarters. Seth Lippe led Omaha (1-5, 0-2) with 19 points while Hunter Isbell and Austin Isbell added 11 apiece.

Jasper 65, Cotter 53

Jasper outscored Cotter 16-7 in the second quarter to take the lead and claimed a victory Tuesday night in Jasper.

Caleb Carter had 26 points and Evan Brasel 13 for the Pirates (4-2), who owned a 29-22 halftime cushion and led by as many as 18 points. Cole Adams led Cotter (0-6) with 20 points while Dylan Dwyer added 16.

Jasper returns to action at 10 a.m. Saturday as the Pirates take on St. Joe at the Arvest Invitational in Flippin.

Bergman 72, Alpena 43

Bergman turned on the offense in the fourth quarter as it outscored Alpena 24-7 over the final 8 minutes and rolled to the victory.

Elijah Royce had 20 points to lead Bergman, who had led 28-26 at halftime and 48-36 before its big fourth-quarter run. Chance Carter added 14 and Shelton Welsh 13 for Bergman.

West Fork 70, Haas Hall 33

The Tigers rolled to a 50-17 halftime lead and cruised to the season-opening win.

Justin Bivens put up a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Brennan Burks and Wyett Kutz added 13 points each for West Fork.

Parker Owen scored 10 for Haas Hall (0-2).

Eureka Springs 72, Deer 53

Garrett Cross posted his second career triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Highlanders to a Tuesday night win.

Cross added 5 steals to his all-around night for Eureka Springs (6-2). Matthew Lester poured in 18 points and Slade Clark scored 16 for the Highlanders.

Cayden Young scored a game-high 29 points for Deer (3-4).

Eureka Springs will host Oark on Friday.

Charleston 54, Little Rock Fair 32

Payton Rucker had 16 points to lead Charleston to its third win in as many days, defeating Fair at the Johnson County Westside Classic.

Alli Green added 14 points and Baylee King 9 for the Lady Tigers (3-0).

West Fork 61, Haas Hall 24

The Lady Tigers jumped to a 43-12 halftime lead and cruised to the season-opening win.

Hannah Johnson led West Fork with 14 points. Brylee Kutz, Lilly Hauser and Erin Crume added six each.

Lamar 54, Magazine 30

Lamar closed out the first half with 20 unanswered points as the Lady Warriors pulled away from Magazine in the Johnson County Westside Classic.

Amber Brown had 16 points and Lakyn Sanders added 10 for Lamar (1-1), which used the run to build a 40-14 halftime cushion.
