WHAT: Heinz Mayochup Saucy Sauce

STATS: A serving of two tablespoons contains 160 calories and 16 fat, 4 carbohydrates, zero fiber, 3 sugar and zero protein grams. We bought it at Kroger Marketplace, 16105 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock. More information at heinz.com/products/HeinzMayochup.

THE SKINNY: Fry sauce, Thousand Island dressing. Russian dressing.

Those are names that we used to call a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise, with or without a few additional ingredients.

Now Heinz, which has combined the two condiments in the same bottle — as well as high fructose corn syrup and seasonings such as onion and garlic powders — has given the concoction a new and comical name: Mayochup Saucy Sauce.

It tastes, well, like fry sauce, Thousand Island dressing and Russian dressing, with or without a few additional ingredients. If you already have ketchup, mayonnaise, a bowl, a spoon and — optional — a spice rack, you probably don't need this too.

While it's not a light product exactly, it does have fewer calories than straight mayo, and it is lower in carbohydrates than straight ketchup.

So now you know what's up with Mayochup.
