Amy Kathryn Hilliard - Alfred Popkess White IV

Wedding vows were exchanged by Amy Kathryn Hilliard and Alfred Popkess White IV, who goes by Kes, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Grandeur House. The Rev. Greg Schick of St. James United Methodist Church, officiated.

Nicki and Joe Hampton Hilliard of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Bruce and the late Barbara Netherton of Little Rock and the late Amy Wadene and the Rev. Allen Hilliard.

Parents of the groom are Amanda Nixon White and Alfred Popkess White III, both of Little Rock. His grandparents are Bobbye and the late Lin Nixon of Little Rock and Ann and Alfred Popkess White Jr. of Hot Springs.

The ceremony site featured an arbor decorated with greenery, white hydrangeas, wax flower and pink roses. Music was by soloist Robert Frost, cousin of the bride, and Julia Frost, aunt of the bride.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a natural silk A-line gown with a sleeveless bodice and pleated cathedral-length skirt. She carried an all-white bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, peonies, Queen Ann's lace, dusty miller and silver dollar eucalyptus.

Maid of honor was Holly Hilliard of Durham, N.C., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachael McCaleb and Sarah Baxter, both of Kansas City, Mo.; Ashley Mowbray and Caitlyn Bryan of Dallas; Bailey Frazier-Whaley of Rogers; and Brittany Williams of Chicago. They wore lux-chiffon dresses and carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

Serving as his brother's best man was Samuel White of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Brandon Wright and Cody Bryan, both of Dallas; Thomas Liner and Andrew Terry, both of Fayetteville; Korosh Saba of Little Rock; and Robert Darnell of Denver.

Tables at a reception -- also at the Grandeur House -- held various sizes of arrangements with white hydrangeas, pink and white roses and silver dollar eucalyptus. Long tables were lined with Italian ruscus and seeded eucalyptus interspersed with small bud vases. The bride and groom's first dance was to music sung by Steven Frye, cousin of the bride. Music for the rest of the evening was by The Party Jammers of Memphis.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and has a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed two years of residency at the University of Illinois Chicago and Rush Memorial Hospital in Chicago and is a solid organ transplant clinical pharmacist.

The groom graduated cum laude from UA with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, and received a master's degree in accounting from the university. He is a financial planning and analysis manager at Uniti.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Costa Rica.
