Mushroom show

Photographer/adventurer Taylor Lockwood covers highlights of his 34-year career photographing the world's most beautiful and elusive mushrooms, 7 p.m. Friday at Unitarian Universalist Church, 1818 Reservoir Road, Little Rock. Lockwood, on what he is calling his "final tour," will share photographs and video he shot since his last tour in 2014, as well as animations of bioluminescents and other mushrooms. UALR winds

'Grand (Re)opening'

M2 Gallery, recently moved from the Pleasant Ridge Town Center to 1300 Main St., in Little Rock's SoMa district, will have a "Grand (Re)opening Show," 5-8 p.m. Friday with food, drinks, music and a performance piece by Jay Sage of Oklahoma City. The show will include new works by Ryder Richards, Jeaneen Barnhart, Ladawna Whiteside, Bryan Frazier, Robin Tucker, John Allison, Neal Harrington, Warren Criswell, Steve Adair, Lisa Krannichfeld, Catherine Nugent, Cathy Burns and Sherrie Shepherd.
