Italian restaurant chain Fazoli's signed a multi-unit development agreement Monday to open three new locations throughout central Arkansas, according to a news release.

Fazoli's will look to expand the fast-casual restaurant in the Benton, Conway and Searcy areas, with the first location opening in 2019, the release states.

The franchises will be owned and operated by Pasta Joint LLC, a Jonesboro-based company that also manages branches of Dairy Queen, Smoothie King, Schlotzsky's, Perkins and Uncle Maddio's Pizza.

According to the chain's website, there are two Fazoli's in Arkansas: one in Jonesboro and one in Paragould.
