North Little Rock police found a 1-year-old girl in a vehicle after its driver was arrested Monday on a DWI charge, according to a report.

Authorities arrested 32-year-old Mallory Searcy about 4:30 p.m. at a gas station at 5800 MacArthur Drive, the report from the city's Police Department states.

Officers wrote that Searcy's 1-year-old daughter was in the vehicle at the time. Police said Searcy appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

The Sherwood resident was booked at 9:50 p.m. into the Pulaski County jail. She faces additional charges of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and other misdemeanor driving offenses, records show.

Police said the girl was released to a family member, and the Child Abuse Hotline was notified.

She remained in jail Tuesday afternoon in lieu of $2,500 bond.
