Investigation of the subsurface in advance of a project to widen a section of Cantrell Road in west Little Rock will require overnight lane and shoulder closings through Oct. 12, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Lane or shoulder closings will occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the following locations and dates, weather permitting:
• River Mountain Road shoulder through Wednesday.
• North Rodney Parham Road shoulder through Monday.
• Exit ramp shoulder from Interstate 430 south to Cantrell Road west through Monday.
• Outside eastbound lane of Cantrell Road between Pleasant Ridge and Woodland Heights roads from Wednesday through Oct. 12.
• Outside westbound lane of Cantrell Road between Southridge Drive and I- 430 from Wednesday through Aug. 12.
No lane or shoulder closings will take place on Saturday or Sunday, the department said. Traffic will be controlled with signs and traffic barrels.
