A cash register containing $100 was reported stolen after a Little Rock Mexican restaurant was broken into Monday night, police said.
Officers were called shortly before 7:45 a.m. Tuesday to La Hacienda at 3024 Cantrell Road.
An employee told authorities that when workers arrived that morning, a glass door had been broken and a cash register was missing.
According to a report from the city's Police Department, the power had been shut off to the whole building, disabling all alarms and cameras.
A similar break-in occurred at the eatery over the summer. Police said a burglar stole about $250 after shattering two front glass doors and a front window July 20, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported. In that instance, the business's power had also been switched off.
No suspects were named and no arrests had been made in this week's burglary.
