Authorities said they have filed additional charges against a central Arkansas man after a third victim accused him of kidnapping and raping her.
The victim told Searcy officers Wednesday that Tyrone Harris drugged, choked and raped her July 24 while at a home in the 1200 block of West Vine Street.
According to an affidavit, Harris took her and another individual into a bedroom and held them at gunpoint. He then grabbed the victim by the hair, threw her down and choked her until she was unable to move. He also threatened to kill her on several occasions, authorities said.
A substance that Harris put in her mouth caused her to feel sick and fall asleep frequently, the affidavit states. She told police he used a gun and a torch to threaten them.
Harris is accused of kidnapping and raping two other woman during the same time period.
One victim said the Searcy resident pulled up next to her in a car, threw her in the vehicle and took her to the Vine Avenue home, where he beat her with a shotgun and raped her. The other told police Harris held her against her will at the home, then he accused her of stealing his phone, beat and raped her, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.
A jail official said the 31-year-old was arrested Aug. 3 and booked into the White County jail, where he remained Thursday afternoon in lieu of $75,000 bond.
He face several charges in the crimes, including multiple counts of rape, kidnapping, aggravated assault, battery, terroristic threatening and introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another person, records show.
