Junior college offensive lineman Tim Anderson is a candidate to become an Arkansas commitment after his official visit to Fayetteville this weekend.

"It's been great,” Anderson said. “Me and my family really enjoyed being out here. It surprised us. Obviously, being from California, it's a different area. But I think we've all found that it's been great. The people are super nice. It's been very nice."

Anderson, 6-5, 280 pounds of Mission Viejo (Calif.) Saddleback College, is expected to enroll in his school of choice in January. He has offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Colorado State, Fresno State and others while drawing recent interest from California and Southern Cal.

The game atmosphere caught him off guard.

"I think seeing the stadium and the atmosphere,” said Anderson, who has officially visited Louisville. “Playing in the SEC, the fans out here are crazy and everyone is super loyal. It was really, really cool to see that.”

Anderson said he could see himself committing to the Hogs before the visit. He plans to go home and talk things over with his family.

"I'm thinking about it,” Anderson said. “Like I said, I love it here, so it's probably going to be an option for that."
