THE SKINNY: The latest to test the sparkling waters: Icelandic Glacial.

Babbling on about the "glaciers, spouting geysers, volcanoes and raging rivers," Icelandic's website boasts, "Iceland is one of the world's cleanest ecosystems. It's also home to the legendary Olfus Spring, the source of Icelandic Glacial."

The new sparkling water, which comes in 16.9-ounce bottles, is available in three flavors: Tahitian Lime, Sicilian Lemon and Elderflower.

We enjoyed the crisp fruit flavors, even if we didn't find them quite as exciting as the website did — "Tahitian Lime, a perfect balance of zesty and sweet; Sicilian Lemon, a classic citrus tang with a hint of sweetness."

But we found the Elderflower — described as "a delicate floral taste, perfect on its own or as a hydrating yet flavorful cocktail mixer" odd and perfumey.

Perhaps it would be better, as the site suggests, with hooch.

Or as a body wash.
