The annual “Tales of the Crypt” event at Mount Holly Cemetery in downtown Little Rock has been postponed until next week.

The presentation by Parkview Arts-Science Magnet High School was initially scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 9, but has been moved due to thunderstorms forecast in the afternoon and evening, the Mount Holly Cemetery Association said in a news release.

The event, now in its 24th year, features Parkview students re-creating the lives of Arkansans who helped shape Little Rock’s history, the association said. The students have researched each character and prepared original scripts for the performance.

Admission is free to the public, though donations to aid the maintenance of Mount Holly Cemetery are appreciated, the association said. The event is set for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 16.
