Little Rock TV station hires central Arkansas native as new reporter, anchor

Little Rock’s CBS affiliate has hired a central Arkansas native to join the team as a new reporter and anchor, according to social media posts.

Jordan Howington comes to KTHV after working for three years as a weekend anchor and reporter at NBC affiliate KAIT in Jonesboro.

The Bryant native attended Arkansas State University, where she graduated with a degree in radio and television broadcasting.

"Thank you for your love, your support," she said on Twitter. "Thank you for trusting me to share the stories that matter most to you. You guys are the reason why it’s so tough to leave [KAIT]."

The former THV intern later said on Facebook that she is thrilled to move home, where she can spend more time with family and work for the station she's dreamed of since she was 8 years old.

"It was then I learned that I loved hearing stories and one day wanted to share them," she said. "My dreams have come true y’all."
