A Little Rock man stabbed another man with a knife Tuesday, puncturing the man's lung, and told police the victim had stolen his car, according to an arrest report.

Officers said Anthony Michael Mayfield, 28, stabbed a Little Rock man during a fight over a vehicle, according to an arrest report. Mayfield told officers the man had taken his car and that he went to the man's house to get it back and got into a fight, authorities said.

Officers noted that Mayfield was slightly injured in the purported fight, but the stabbed man had a punctured lung that medical personnel did not consider life-threatening.

Officers arrested Mayfield on a charge of first-degree battery and transported him to the Pulaski County jail, where he remained Wednesday with no bail set.
