Ballet Arkansas combines choreography by its executive and artistic director, Michael Fothergill, to music by composers including Sergei Rachmaninoff, Francis Poulenc, Franz Liszt, Dmitri Shostakovich and Gyorgy Ligeti, and mixed-media projections by Cranford Co. and 360-degree sound for Dracula, a full-length ballet based on Bram Stoker's classic tale, to kick off its 40th season:

Mist and Shadows
Theatre @ UAFS' production of Mist and Shadows combines elements of escape rooms, haunted houses and installation art, in which audience members (wearing a costume piece similar to a hoodie that the theater will provide) are active participants, 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and Oct.22-23, Breedlove Auditorium, University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, 5120 Grand Ave., Fort Smith.
Cast and crew created the interactive production under the guidance of Bob Stevenson. Due to dark themes, violence and sensuality, the show is rated for ages 14 and older.
