MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. — Arkansas' men’s basketball team was picked to finish 10th in the SEC and Razorbacks sophomore forward Daniel Gafford was a first-team all-conference choice in a media poll released on Wednesday at SEC Media Days.

Kentucky was the media’s pick to win the SEC championship. Tennessee and Auburn — which shared the championship last season — were picked second and third, respectively.

    I predict a top 5 finish. While the Hogs did lose Barford and Macon, this team is longer and more athletic and should be stronger defensively which is Mike Anderson's forte.

    10th will not be acceptable. Another trip to NCAA and at least one win should be the minimum.

    If the new backcourt is as good as advertised they should do much better than 10th.
