Authorities arrest teen accused in Little Rock shooting; victim in stable condition, police say

4:15 P.M. UPDATE:

Authorities have charged a 19-year-old in the shooting of a man during a domestic dispute that occurred Wednesday morning at a Little Rock home.

Eric Davis faces a charge of first-degree battery in the shooting on West 23rd Street, Little Rock police spokesman Eric Barnes said.

He did not appear in the Pulaski County jail's online inmate roster as of 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, but Barnes said he was in stable condition.

EARLIER:

Authorities said a man was critically injured in a shooting Wednesday morning during a dispute inside a Little Rock home.

Police spokesman Eric Barnes said it happened at a residence in the 300 block of West 23rd Street.

An online dispatch log showed officers were called to the house at 9:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 50s suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition for treatment, Barnes said.

Police are investigating a man who also lives in the home as a possible shooter, the spokesman said.
