Fallin’ Blackbird 5K, Beebe Fall Festival
BEEBE — The Beebe Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to downtown Beebe for the Fallin’ Blackbird 5K at 7:30 a.m., followed by the Beebe Fall Festival, starting at 10 a.m. The festival will feature vendors, live entertainment, food and activities for kids, including pony rides, miniature-train rides and bounce houses. The music lineup will include The Sugar Creek Band, The Chris Baker Band and Jurassic World and Pitch Perfect 2 cast member Zachary Probus. Beginner Weaving Workshop
BATESVILLE — The Batesville Area Arts Council will host a Beginner Weaving Workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the BAAC Gallery on Main, 226 E. Main St. Instructor Carly Dahl will teach the basics of weaving, including the tabby weave, adding fringe, and finishing and hanging the piece. Sprint at the Spring 5K
MAMMOTH SPRING — FNBC Bank will be the presenting sponsor at the annual Ozarka College Sprint at the Spring 5K, hosted by the Ozarka College Foundation, with all proceeds benefiting Ozarka College-Mammoth Spring. CABOT — Feed the Veterans, a veterans food pantry at 214 Rainbow Drive, is open the third Saturday of each month. The pantry, which lets veterans shop for the items and amounts they need, serves military veterans, their spouses and children younger than 18. Retirees, guardsmen and reservists are welcome.
