A North Little Rock man broke his uncle's jaw in two places and cracked several of his teeth in an attack Saturday, according to police.

Officers were sent to St. Vincent CHI on Saturday after a man was taken to the hospital with extensive facial injuries, according to an arrest report.

The man said Aaron Terrell Dobbins, his 24-year-old nephew, had attacked him and hit him with a large stick, the report said.

Officers arrested Dobbins fewer than two hours later and charged him with second-degree domestic battery. Dobbins was in the Pulaski County jail Tuesday evening with bail set at $2,500.

Thieves take $300 from custard shop

About $300 in coins was stolen during a break-in at a west Little Rock frozen custard shop Monday night, police said.

Officers were sent to Shake's Frozen Custard at 12011 Westhaven Drive shortly after 11:45 p.m.

According to a Little Rock police report, the front sliding doors were broken and an alarm was blaring when officers arrived. The power had been turned off to the building, police noted.

The owner told officers that a plastic bucket containing $300 in change was missing. A safe that was bolted to a shelf was moved but was not opened or damaged, the report states.
