Safe containing $15,000 reported stolen in break-in of Little Rock fast-food restaurant

A thief stole a safe containing about $15,000 in cash and a gun from a Little Rock fast-food restaurant early Wednesday, according to a police report.

Officers were called to the Sharks at 8824 Geyer Springs Road shortly after 3 a.m.

The eatery's manager told police that the safe containing the money, 19 company checks and a gun was taken from the office.

The report states that surveillance video showed a a male wearing dark clothing and a "white sheet on his face" break the business's front door and remove the safe from the office.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
