Authorities are looking for a woman accused of repeatedly stabbing a 50-year-old Arkansan on Monday afternoon.

According to Pine Bluff officer DeAunuana Martin, 25-year-old Marcella Romack stabbed Timothy Evans at a house in the 3100 block of Oakwood Road about 2 p.m..

Evans' friend, who was in the house during the stabbing, tried to take him to a hospital, but he collapsed at the intersection of Sulphur Springs and Oakwood roads, a news release states.

Martin said Evans was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center. The officer said Friday that she didn’t have any information about Evans’ condition.

Hospital spokesman Glenn Crain said that Evans was not included in a patient directory Friday afternoon, which could mean that he had been released or that he had opted out of being listed.

Authorities said there was a reward for information about the case but did not specify an amount.
