Behold the grand puppet master

The Democrats in Congress have a dirty little secret. They are merely puppets attached to the strings of their master, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

With the slightest twitch of his fingers, Schumer had his puppets deliver an embarrassing circus performance intended to derail an event of national significance: the confirmation hearing of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Before the start of that recent hearing, Schumer organized a phone call with his Democrat colleagues, discussing his strategy for the coming event. All of his loyal soldiers faithfully carried out their orders, repeatedly interrupting Republican lawmakers and delaying the process for hours.

It was especially notable that this planning meeting was not led by one of the Democrat leaders on the Senate Judiciary Committee such as Dianne Feinstein, Patrick Leahy, or Dick Durbin. No, it was the Grand Puppet Master himself.

But the political theater in Congress is only a small part of a much bigger agenda to take down President Trump. And if the Democrats win a majority in the coming election--even if only in the House--Schumer and his minions, including the red-state Democrats, will push their caucus to impeach the commander-in-chief at all costs.

Unlikely? Think again. While the Democrats like to keep their cards close to the vest, Schumer revealed his real take on impeachment during a Labor Day parade.

"When are you all going to impeach [President Donald] Trump?" one onlooker asked the senator as he marched along a street in Brooklyn. "The sooner the better," Schumer replied, adding that the Democrats "gotta get a few Republicans" first.

This is further proof of the Democrats' real intentions and shows who's fully in command of leading them down the impeachment path.

Instead of embracing the results of the 2016 election and working with President Trump to restore America to peace and prosperity, Schumer publicly confessed that the Democrats are planning to remove the commander-in-chief from office without an election. Clearly, when Democrats such as Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi downplay impeachment ahead of the midterms, they're using pure deception.

For a political party that pretends to be concerned about the integrity of our presidential elections, the Democrats should spend more time reflecting on how their radical agenda threatens to undermine the democratic process and the will of the people.

While some Democrats may position themselves as the independent voices of their party, they do so only to deceive the American people into supporting them this November. Ultimately, the Democrats will all fall in line behind Schumer.

For the last two years, the Senate minority leader has been leading his party's opposition strategy, and has set the Democrats' agenda on immigration, tax reform, and other major Trump agenda items. In fact, not a single Democrat senator voted in favor of the president's health-care fix or historic tax cuts.

Despite feigning openness to President Trump's agenda, many red-state Democrats in the Senate--who have had the most to lose by siding with their party platform--ended up opposing the administration's policies. Ultimately, they cared more about doing Chuck Schumer's bidding than doing the right thing for the American people.

West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, for example, has occasionally supported President Trump's economic agenda, but voted against tax cuts for American workers and businesses.

Likewise, Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota has also echoed Republicans on the economy, but still voted no on the GOP tax reform bill.

Red-state Democrats like Manchin and Heitkamp prove that a puppet will always be a puppet, even when dressing the part of part-time Trump supporter.

Democrats in Congress are not here to represent the American people. They are only in office to please their party masters. Time and again, Schumer has personally orchestrated the sleazy tactics of the fringe as he did for the Kavanaugh hearings and has forced dissidents to support the party platform.

If the Democrats take control of Congress in November, their coordinated campaign to bring down President Trump will kick into full gear. And Chuck Schumer, the Grand Puppet Master, will be the one pulling the strings.
