Southern Storage adds U-Haul products

Southern Storage at 1551 Main Drive in Fayetteville will now be a U-Haul dealer. The storage facility will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, moving supplies and in-store pickup for boxes.

The store is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

Derek LaFargue and Bryan Chandler are Southern Storage partners.

Area organizations win quality awards

Area organizations were among 25 honored during the 24th annual awards celebration for the Governor's Quality Award Program on Sept. 13 in Little Rock.

J.V. Manufacturing Inc. of Springdale, Springdale Water Utilities and Washington Regional Medical Center of Fayetteville received the Governor's Award for Performance Excellence.

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center of Harrison received an Achievement Level Award.

Other organizations receiving the Challenge Level Award were: Avenir Memory Care at Fayetteville, Mercy Crest Assisted Living of Barling, Northwest Health of Springdale and Valley Springs Rehabilitation and Health Center of Van Buren.

The awards ceremony includes four award levels of performance excellence (in descending order of qualifications): the Governor's Award, the Achievement Award, the Commitment Award, and the Challenge Award. As well as the recognition, recipients receive an in-depth evaluation of their management systems and a written feedback report citing strengths and areas for improvement.

uBreakiFix opens in Fayetteville

Tech repair brand uBreakiFix opened its newest location in Fayetteville at 3931 N. Shiloh Drive, Suite 2B in Nelson's Crossing on Sept. 11. This is the brand's first location in Washington County, joining stores in central and northwestern Arkansas.

uBreakiFix services anything with a power button, including smartphones, game consoles, tablets, computers, drones and hoverboards. Common fixes include cracked screens, software problems and camera problems. The brand also offers support for most technical problems on any electronic device, regardless of make or model.

uBreakiFix Fayetteville is the second location for uBreakiFix Tech Solutions Inc., led by President Mike Pierce and Chief Operating Officer Brad Reece. The group also owns a store in Springfield, Mo., and has stores under construction in Joplin, Mo., and Tulsa, with additional stores coming soon.
