A man was killed and another injured Monday in a shooting in Pine Bluff, according to police.

The shooting occurred about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 26th Avenue and Olive Street, Pine Bluff officer Richard Wegner said.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and a man was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was being treated for serious injuries, according to a news release from the city's Police Department.

Authorities later Monday identified the man who was killed as 29-year-old Courtney Lane of Pine Bluff. They also released an image from a surveillance camera that shows a gray car police believe the shooter was in.

Wegner said police are investigating the death as a homicide and do not have any suspects. The killing is the 17th reported in the city in 2018.
