Artisans and musicians are preparing for an annual salute to the old ways at the Arkansas Folk Festival, Friday-Saturday in downtown Mountain View. The festival includes the Artisans Market on the Square, full of arts and crafts of all sorts. Music groups and soloists will perform on the courthouse stage and in impromptu jam sessions around the square. The Ozark Folk Center State Park's Craft Village will offer free admission, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. Most events are free.
