Doug and Gretchen Leech hosted Grape Expectations at Sonny Williams' Steak Room on April 12. The wine tasting and dinner was a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
About 75 guests attended the event, which began with the tasting, appetizers and a chance to buy Kendra Scott jewelry.
For dinner, guests had a choice of French onion soup or a salad for the first course. For the second course, guests could choose steak, honey balsamic chicken, Chilean sea bass or vegetarian pasta. Dessert was cheesecake or bread pudding with whiskey sauce.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to cure blood cancers by funding research and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by providing information and support services.
