HOPE -- The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will hold its 26th annual Community Fish Fry to help raise money for scholarships.

The event is scheduled from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday on the Hempstead Hall lawn at the Hope campus. The cost is $10 per plate. Proceeds will benefit the college's foundation. The school has more than 1,400 students on campuses in Hope and Texarkana.

Organizers said there will be a drive-thru "to go" line for carry-out meals by the library entrance, accessed through the main campus entrance by the electronic sign. Carry-out trays will not include a drink.

The fish fry will offer fried catfish and Tyson chicken cooked by the Hope Lions Club. Live, local entertainment and children's activities will also be available.
