Country music stars Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett return to host ABC's CMA Fest, a three-hour concert special airing at 7 p.m. today. Multimedia personality (and Hot Springs native) Bobby Bones serves as a special guest host.

Filmed during Nashville's annual four-day CMA Fest in June, the special features more than 30 performances and surprise collaborations onstage at Nissan Stadium. This year marks the 16th consecutive year of the broadcast.

More than 300 artists perform, donating their time so a portion of ticket proceeds can directly benefit music education initiatives across the United States.

Among those performing are Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Ashley McBryde, Brantley Gilbert, Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Joan Jett, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Brett Young.
