Ten emerging fashion designers displayed their talents at Arkansas Fashion School's A Leading Edge fashion show on Aug. 3 at Chenal Country Club.

The event was a showcase for the designers featuring clothing that included sparkling eveningwear, whimsical outfits and streetwear. The evening began with a reception, followed by a program emceed by Mallory Brooks. A program featured remarks by Sybil Jordan Hampton about fashion design as art and from Dr. Donna Brown, a graduate of the Fashion School. Designs were presented by alumni and current students including Abby Alba, Lauri Criddle, Emma Ferren, Olena Kasion Fitzgerald, Crystal Hamilton, Amberly Holiman, Beth Hollar, Reymon Linares, Amanda Morley and Brennon Taylor.

Arkansas Fashion School was founded by couture designer Jamileh Kamran.
