ROCKABILLY ROOTS

The Arkansas State University Museum and public radio station KASU-FM, 91.9, open "Rockabilly! The Northeast Arkansas Story," focusing on the link between the northeast part of the state and the early history of rock 'n' roll. A reception, 5:30-7 p.m. today at the museum, 320 University Loop West, Jonesboro, features live music by Rockin' Luke Stroud, brief remarks by university and city officials and light refreshments. The exhibit includes listening stations with recordings of songs from the region's rockabilly musicians, as well as performance instruments and sound equipment.
