12:49 P.M. UPDATE:

Little Rock Fire Department officials found a man who had been fatally shot Tuesday morning while responding to a call in west Little Rock, a police spokesman said.

At 9:41 a.m., Little Rock firefighters responded to 8017 W. 35th St., where a 911 caller said a man was “unresponsive,” Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Michael Ford said. Firefighters found that the man, who had been shot, was deceased.

Emergency services arrived on scene at approximately 9:47 a.m, and Little Rock police shortly after at 9:51, Ford said. The man, who police have not yet publicly identified, was found in the front room of the house on the corner of W. 35th and Gillman streets.

Ford said officers took a witness in for interview, though authorities did not say whether the witness was the same person who called 911.

Ford said the investigation is ongoing.

I imagine the mayor will console someone and coddle someone. Hard to know which way it'll go.

Pine Bluff better pick up the pace or they'll have to share the title of " Thug City Arkansas" with Little Rock.

Why don’t the po po just let them shoot it out
Like a big board game If you shoot a hood n. , then it’s ok if you stayed within your terrarium
If you shoot an innocent person even if he’s undeclared or an undeclared former hood n you are instantly put to death . . .

Little Rock appears sort of triangle shaped on a map. There looks to be a Northwest, Southwest and East sections, and maybe a Mid-town.

Would this area be part of the Mid-Town section I hear referred to?

My thoughts exactly...This is not west Little Rock. I grew up around Hall High when the area was new in the 60s. Even west of University is not "West Little Rock". Maybe west of Mississippi? Where I grew up is now called "Midtown", correct? I remember when Rodney Parham was a nice drive in the country with horses grazing. I turn 60 in January. LOL.
