Rock Region Metro celebrated the 15th birthday of the Metro Streetcar service with a Nov. 13 reception at Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Guests were encouraged to catch a streetcar to get to the event. Before a cocktail reception, Rock Region Metro Executive Director Charles D. Frazier showed a short video showcasing the streetcars.

Guests included many of the leaders who were instrumental in the creation of the streetcar program including former mayors Pat Hays of North Little Rock and Jim Dailey of Little Rock, former Pulaski County Judge Buddy Villines, Rock Region Metro board member Jimmy Moses and Keith Jones, former executive director of Central Arkansas Transit Authority (the former name of Rock Region Metro.)
