Pet of the Week

Jorah was nearly euthanized at a local shelter after he developed a noncontagious form of mange. He's been overlooked by adopters time and time again. His fur is growing back now and he's the biggest sweetheart in the world! At 6 months old, Jorah is the perfect age. He's still got puppy playfulness but without the puppy destruction. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and has never met an adult, child, dog, cat, squirrel or ant that he didn't like. Jorah is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.

Paws in Prison Pet of the Week

Anyone looking for a sweet valentine needs look no further than Annie. Annie will provide a loyal, uncomplicated love. True to the Red Heeler breed, she's sharp as a tack, loves to run and play, and wouldn't leave her owner's side for all the kibble in the world. Annie is a Paws in Prison graduate who is house-trained and knows all basic commands. She would do best in a home with no other pets or small children. Annie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.

Jorah, Annie and friends can be adopted through CARE for Animals. More information is available at (501) 603-2273 and www.careforanimals.org.
