Stewart-Lanier
Emily Catherine Lanier and Troy "Teddy" Stewart were united in marriage Saturday in St. James United Methodist Church. The Rev. Carness Vaughan officiated.
Parents of the bride are Cathy and Rusty Lanier of Little Rock. The groom is the son of Ella and Stanley Stewart of San Diego.
Honor attendants were Laura Lanier and Kiel Brander.
After the ceremony, there was a reception at the Clinton Presidential Center.
The bride has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Alabama. She is a marketing coordinator and national sales representative for the Strong Co., Pine Bluff.
The groom has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of California at San Diego and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is an assistant attorney general for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit at the Office of Arkansas Attorney General.
The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a honeymoon in White House, Jamaica.
