A 19-year-old is accused of kidnapping a man and a woman in the parking lot of a western Arkansas store and sexually assaulting the woman at gunpoint, authorities said.

Zion Sincere Releford of Fort Smith is charged in Sebastian County with two counts of kidnapping and aggravated assault, as well as one count of sexual assault. All five charges are felonies, with the kidnapping charges carrying a 40-year maximum.

Authorities said Releford kidnapped the two people from the Fort Smith 10 Box parking lot before sexually assaulting the woman. Police arrested Releford on Saturday, according to a statement.

Releford remained in the Sebastian County jail Monday, according to an inmate roster.

Court records show Releford was charged in 2018 with making terroristic threats and criminal mischief. Both felony cases remain open in Sebastian County.

Court records didn't list an attorney for Releford.

Releford is due in court Feb. 13.
