Work on a $79.2 million widening of a section of U.S. 67/167 between Jacksonville and Cabot will require periodic overnight lane closings beginning today and lasting two weeks, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
The inside lane of northbound or southbound U.S. 67/167 between Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville and Arkansas 5 in Cabot will be closed at various times to accommodate crews working within the median.
The northbound inside lane closings will occur between 8 p.m. and 1 p.m. the following day while the southbound lane closings will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., the department said. Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signs.
