Jacksonville man jailed in shooting

A Jacksonville man was arrested after shooting a man Wednesday during a robbery, an arrest report said.

Jacksonville police arrested Aaron Leander Hadley, 32, on Wednesday on charges of first-degree battery, aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm by certain persons and theft of property after police were called about 2 a.m. Wednesday to 1000 Stone St. in reference to a man being shot, the report said.

A detective who responded to the scene said a man was shot at the Express Coin Laundry, according to the report. The detective did not indicate how Hadley was identified as the suspect but said officers arrested the man just before 10 a.m. at 1400 Marshall Road.

Hadley was in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of bond as of Wednesday evening.

Man's elbow strikes officer, police say

A Little Rock man elbowed an officer in the mouth Wednesday and resisted arrest, officers said in a report.

Officers arrested Zachary Allen Monday, 25, after he elbowed an officer, causing injury, the report said.

Officers did not specify details surrounding the incident, such as why Monday was being arrested before the officer was injured.

Monday was in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of bond as of Wednesday evening.
