Two new exhibits will open to the public this weekend at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St., Pine Bluff. "Era of Activism," focusing on social issues and activism from the 1960s and '70s with works from the center's permanent collection, opens Saturday and will remain up through Aug. 31. And the already-open "2019 Small Works on Paper" touring exhibition of pieces by more than three dozen Arkansas artists no larger than 18-by-24 inches, sponsored by the Arkansas Arts Council, has a reception, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, and will be up through Jan. 26.
