Jasper 76, The New School 62

Caleb Carter had 29 points to lead four players in double figures as Jasper earned a 1A-1 Conference win at home over The New School. The Pirates (23-9, 9-2) took control of the game early with a 21-9 lead after one quarter, and they extended that to a 37-21 halftime margin. Laythan Collins added 15 for Jasper, followed by Jonathon Schweitzer with 13 and Chance Pruitt with 12. Chase Ammons led The New School (23-5, 7-4) with 31 points while Arthur Lofton chipped in 10.

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Western Grove 71, Calico Rock 45

The Warrior jumped to a 20-8 lead after a quarter and cruised to the 1A-2 Conference win Tuesday. Western Grove (23-8, 10-5 1A-2) placed five players in double figures led by Zack Bolin with 16, followed by Carsen Parker and Hunter Baker with 15 each. Luke Lane added 10 and Gage Freeman 10 for the Warriors, who led 40-19 at halftime. Cade Whitaker led Calico Rock (24-7, 13-3) with 15 points, while Cole Whitaker added 12.

Clarksville 69, Ozark 64

Bob Hurley poured in a team-high 27 points and Trace Thomas added 22 to lead the Panthers to the 4A-4 Conference overtime win Tuesday night. Ozark led 34-31 at halftime but trailed 49-48 after three quarters. Thomas added five rebounds and four assists, while Hurley also dished out five assists for the Panthers. Braden Payne added nine points and a team-high six rebounds.

Booneville 72, Paris 61

Grant Goers enjoys a huge night with 23 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to lead the Bearcats to their 21st consecutive win Tuesday night. Booneville (22-1, 12-0 3A-4) led 39-21 at halftime and cruised to the big 3A-4 Conference victory. Logan Bradley added 19 points and 11 assists, while Blakley Cobb chipped in 15 points. Camryn Lawson also dished out 10 assists for Booneville. Micah Duncan led Paris with 23 points.

Jasper 78, NWA Classical Academy 24

Laythan Collins had 14 points to lead three Jasper players in double figures as the Pirates rolled to a 1A-1 Conference victory over host NWA Classical Academy. Chance Pruitt and Caleb Carter each added 12 points for Jasper (22-9, 8-2), which led 20-6 after one quarter and 45-14 at halftime. Twelve of the 13 Pirates in uniform scored.

Charleston 71, West Fork 66

Brayden Ross had 24 points to lead four players in double figures as Charleston held off a fourth-quarter comeback and defeated West Fork in 3A-1 West Conference action. Charleston led 39-27 at halftime and 51-36 after three quarters before West Fork made things interesting over the final 8 minutes. Jacob Green added 18 points for Charleston (15-5, 11-1), followed by Kaleb Fisher with 13 and Blaine Rowland with 11.

Bergman 74, Green Forest 41

Bergman outscored Green Forest 26-6 in the third quarter and rolled to a 3A-1 East Conference victory in Green Forest. Shelton Welsh had 19 points for the Panthers (25-6, 8-3), who stretched a 35-31 halftime lead to a 61-37 cushion after three quarters. Elijah Royce added 14 points and 17 rebounds, while Chance Carter added 11.

Haas Hall-Fayetteville 51, Decatur 43

The Mastiffs (3-12, 3-6) scored a win in 2A-1 Conference action Tuesday night as Thomas Leonard and Collin McCabe scored 17 points each. Conner Sutton scored 16 points to lead Decatur, and Bryson Funk added

Eureka Springs 56, Yellville-Summit 34

The Highlanders raced past Yell-ville-Summit in 2A-1 Conference action Tuesday night. Garrett Cross scored a game-high 22 points for Eureka Springs (26-5, 7-1) and Carter Drennon scored 13. J.T. Frazier led Yellville-Summit (13-6, 6-3) with 17 points.

Blue Eye, Mo. 55, Omaha 48

Omaha took a slight lead into the fourth quarter but couldn’t keep it as the Eagles dropped a nonconference game Monday at Blue Eye. Omaha (14-12) trailed 18-16 after one quarter but came back to lead 28-27 at halftime and 35-34 after three quarters. Austin Isbell, Trey Stone and Seth Lippe each had 13 points for Omaha, while Andrew Mitchell had 22 and Nathan Garrett 14 for Blue Eye.

GIRLS

Ozark 51, Clarksville 42

Clarksville lost its grip of sole possession of first place in the 4A-4 Conference standings as Ozark knocked off the Lady Panthers in Ozark. Clarksville (19-6, 8-2) cut a 25-16 halftime deficit to 36-32 after three quarters before Ozark claimed the win. Alexie Tibbs and K.K. Phillips each had 10 points for the Lady Panthers, whose loss dropped them in a first-place tie with Morrilton. Those two teams play Friday in Clarksville.

Charleston 59, West Fork 28

Charleston hit 14 3-pointers and rolled past West Fork to remain unbeaten in 3A-1 West Conference play. Alli Green had 18 points to lead Charleston (21-2, 12-0), which was never threatened after it built a 21-2 lead after one quarter.

Jasper 71, NWA Classical Academy 13

Jasper built a 27-0 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 1A-1 Conference victory over Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy. Sierra Johnson had 24 points to lead the Lady Pirates (21-7, 7-2), followed by Hope Brasel with 19 and Taylor Davidson with 10. Easton Kimball had eight for NWA Classical.
