Charlotte Taylor and Gypsy Rain — singer Charlotte Taylor, guitarist Matt Stone, bassist Bruce Johnston and percussionist John Roach — perform for Live@5, 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St., Pine Bluff. Admission is $10, $5 for center members, and includes complimentary alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages — guests must be 21 or older to enter. Sponsor is M.K. Distributors Inc. Spa City gallery

Abstract paintings by Dustyn Bork and figurative paintings by Katherine Strause and Emily Wood are among the works on display, starting with a 5-9 p.m. Friday Gallery Walk reception at Justus Fine Art Gallery, 827A Central Ave., Hot Springs. The exhibit, which also includes paintings by Matthew Hasty and Dolores Justus, wood sculpture by Robyn Horn and Sandra Sell, wood-turned vessels by Gene Sparling and steel work by Robert Fogel, will be on display through July 30. STEAM Camp

Pine Bluff's Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is offering a STEAM Camp, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 15-19 for youngsters 13-17.

The camp is split into two parts:

• Engineering & Technology, 9 a.m.-noon. Through hands-on building and experimentation, introduces students to electric circuits, LEDs and switches, stop-motion animation, beginning computer coding and apps, conductors and semiconductors, programming motors and app development.

• Game Design & Development, 1-4 p.m. Through virtual development, students learn the fundamentals for creating a game through computer programming and animation, creative problem solving, mathematics, storytelling and teamwork.
